We specialize in eight different ministries or, as we like to call them, "OC's"
OC Ministries is Operation Connection, Operation Church, Operation Clinic, Operation Classroom, Operation Clean Water, Operation Clear Vision, Operation Crop, and Operation Cut & Sew all rolled into one! By means of these nine different operations, it is our mission to minister to the minds, bodies and spirits of children in developing countries.
The very first "OC" was Operation Connection, founded in 1989 to assist in the rebuilding of UMC related schools in Liberia and Sierra Leone, West Africa. In 1992, Jamaica was added to the list of countries and in 2015, Haiti was added. Many new partnerships have developed with clinics and churches over the years. In 2000, what was initially called "Operation Connection" expanded into the broader title of "OC Ministries."
